Come One Dance Academy opened its doors to students in September 2019 and has grown into a welcoming, supportive space for children and young people who love dance and musical theatre. Our focus has always been on nurturing confidence, creativity, and personal growth in a positive and encouraging environment.
We are passionate about helping every student feel valued, supported, and proud of their progress, whether attending classes for enjoyment, confidence-building, or future aspirations within performing arts.

Whether children dance for enjoyment, confidence, fitness, or with future ambitions in mind, we support each pupil in a way that feels right for them. Our classes are designed to be positive, encouraging, and enjoyable, helping pupils grow both on and off the stage.
For those who choose to explore dance or musical theatre more seriously, we offer structured guidance and additional opportunities throughout their time with us. This includes regular in-house performances and a range of external performance experiences, giving pupils valuable exposure in a supportive setting.
Alongside class training, pupils can take part in carefully selected performance opportunities that have previously included events and venues such as Move It!, CYD?, Alton Towers, Disneyland Paris, and Watford Palace Theatre. These experiences help build confidence, teamwork, and stage awareness. We also run an Elite Competition Team for pupils who show a strong interest in this pathway.​
BUILT ON A GENUINE LOVE FOR TEACHING AND LEARNING
Our academy was shaped around Sophie’s vision of offering inclusive, thoughtful training where every child feels supported and encouraged. That vision grew from a strong passion for teaching and a commitment to helping pupils access current, well-rounded training in a positive environment.
Through ongoing learning, research, and professional connections, we continue to develop our approach and bring fresh ideas into our classes. These connections allow us to offer carefully chosen workshops and intensives with visiting professionals, giving pupils new experiences while keeping their well-being at the heart of everything we do.
Creativity plays a big role in our work. Sophie’s background in choreography influences the way classes and performances are structured, helping pupils build confidence, expression, and teamwork. Our shows are thoughtfully created to give every child a chance to feel proud of what they achieve, both individually and as part of the wider academy.
